Holy hell we’ve put in a lot of miles. Well, not “we” in the sense that I’ve been traveling a lot, because I’ve been busy sitting pretty and trying to set up a hackerspace in Ann Arbor, Michigan while Bilal, Paul, and Jordan run ragged around the country. But I’ve been following them closely, and at the moment I’m underwriting their adventures from Pumping Station One in Chicago, Illinois. I’ll be posting more content here as it becomes available.
In the last two weeks, the team has been to:
San Francisco – Noisebridge, Radish Labs and Remake Lounge
Oakland – NIMBY
Mountain View, CA – Hacker Dojo
Fullerton – 23B
Los Angeles – Sugar Shack, The Machine Project and The Public School Project
Seattle – Saturday House, Jigsaw
Vancouver – VHS
Atlanta – Freeside
Huntsville, AL – Makers Local 256
Chicago – Pumping Station One
Later this evening after we’ve finished grilling the Pumping Station One folks, we’ll be heading up to Milwaukee, WI to talk to Bucketworks.
Soon we’ll have more hackerspace-specific content coming up, and I’ll be adding hacker/maker profiles as I’m able to.
Boom!
